Caught in the NETS!

I’m currently taking part in the NETS Leadership Academy, a program focused on successfully implementing the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS).  On this page, I’ll be posting my thoughts and reflections as I go through the course, as well as any interesting links I might find that relate to the subject.

Feel free to comment with responses or questions. 🙂   I’d love to hear from other teachers who are also  integrating technology into their classrooms!

    • Thanks, Rebecca! I’m super pumped. I’ll definitely pass along any cool ideas that come my way. 🙂 One program I’ve just discovered is Diigo. You can highlight and post comments on “sticky notes” digitally. It’s very cool! I’m just getting my feet wet, but I’ll let you know how it goes when I use it with my kids.

    • Awww, thanks!! I am SO glad we are doing this together, too. It helps so much to have someone to talk to and bounce ideas off of. Did you go to NYC?!

  3. Integrating technology into the classroom… I have been doing that for a dozen or so years. Since I work with 3 and 4 year olds, I know it doesn’t hold a candle to the elementary scene… but I have some pretty interesting war stories to tell…
